“I think the team leaders lost focus on what it’s supposed to be about,” said Davis.

Although the season ended on a disappointing note, Davis is encouraged by the potential of next year’s team.

“I’m definitely coming back, and I can see next year’s team competing in the City League Championship game. But,” she added, “we need to clean out the negativity of this year, first.”
