Students also have hopes that An Inconvenient Truth will draw attention to environmental issues. Junior and Environmental Club member Alejandra Murphy-Judy wishes that the popularity of Al Gore’s documentary will draw larger crowds to aid in Earth Day activities.

“After seeing and being impacted by Al Gore’s documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, I hope and expect that others who have seen this movie will also be affected and be moved enough to participate,” Judy-Murphy said.

If you’re interested in participating in Earth Day activities, visit Frick Environmental Center on Beechwood Blvd. from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Schenley Park’s Visitor Center from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on April 21st.
